I am currently working on a poster of my family tree. Its an investigation into my family history and its like an adventure for me. I’m hunting down photos and names and birth/death information for as far back as I can go.
I am learning things I never knew just by asking questions of people in my family who I’ve never spoken to before (live far away) or haven’t connected with in years and years. When I finish my photo poster of my ‘tree’ then I will make a book with the pictures and more stories and information about my family.
I recommend that you do the same one day soon – ask those questions and get copies of those old photos before its too late and the research and fact finding becomes even more difficult.
Do it and you’ll have no regrets.
